WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Don't be fooled by the grim-faced picture. It was the only unblinking one. For me, words are worth a thousand pictures. I'm looking forward to saying hi to all of you.

My Place of Perfect Peace

In any season I can find serentiy at the Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island. http://www.plantingfields.org/ All I need to do is think of myself there and waves of peace float through me. What's your place of perfect peace?

...my inner peace can be found early mornings blading along the pacifi coast of huntingron and newport beac hes- watching the surfers greet the day and grab a wave, listneing to the wake up call of the gulls and the crach and bang of the white foamed waves as they claim victory at the shoreline.

Smelling the salty air and feeling the emptiness of pure moments- this is my peace...

One of my areas of perfect peace comes as I am riding my bike along the crowded seafront of Nice, France, pass the airport and break away into the Southern California-like seaside town of Cagnes-sur-Mer.
